Room Description: 

Forget. Everything. And. Run.

There is a woman in the woods who you suspect has priceless jewels you wish to steal. An insider leads you out to her cabin so that you may begin your heist. You can be assured that things go terribly wrong.

Kyle: Holy Shit. That's all I could muster up in a certain section of this room. Scram produced a banger here, and I have to say, even with Simon and Josh having completed this room previously and Simon predicting nearly every jump scare that was coming (and even some that weren't coming!), this legitimately terrified me. We thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality that Scram has to offer at their Parramatta branch; everything looks professional and well-done. We also loved the touch of taking a photo in the room that we had just completed. Prior to the room, I did not know you could consult with your Games Master and request to dial up the 'scare' factor or tone it right down. I would imagine we were somewhere in the middle, and even still, this holds a very close second on the shit-my-pants scale. I've got Intruders from Mission at #1 and Sacrifice at #3. The room was fantastic, immersion amazing, and the locks and/or puzzles made sense with the theme of the room—even if I was incapacitated for a chunk of the time in the room due to F.E.A.R!

Simon: This room was so good that I have now done it twice! When I completed this room the first time, it was only the second escape room I had ever done. I expected this room to be scary but did not expect it to be that scary! The whole time I had completely forgotten I had a life outside of the escape room and felt as though I was going to have to fight for mine in there. It was so immersive, with every single puzzle challenging and relevant. Despite only being my second escape room, this remains number 1 on my favourites list. Doing it second time around took nothing away from my intial experience, I was still just as terrified. I will say there is a different feel to doing an escape room which is scary. I know for myself when I am scared, it gets the adrenaline pumping which actually helps me with solving puzzles as I feel even more focussed and determined to solve them. Every escape room enthusiast needs to do this room. Also pro tip: Don't wear thongs/flip-flops in this room, your other teammates may trod on your feet!
