Kyle:
Our journey with Scram Escape Rooms began in Parramatta, prompting our curiosity to explore The Witching Hour at their new location in Macquarie Park. The room cast a captivatingly creepy ambiance, each space veiled in darkness. The puzzles, laden with satanic ritual undertones, contributed to an interactive and immersive experience. Surmounting the room's difficulty and intricate puzzles, we emerged victorious with nearly 15 minutes to spare—a true testament to our collective problem-solving prowess and the need for some serious "big brain" thinking.
Post The Witching Hour adventure, a lingering positive vibe enveloped us. The experience was seamlessly enhanced by the convenience of ample on-site parking, requiring minimal pre-planning on our part. Our escapade culminated in a delightful visit to Kong's BBQ for an enjoyable Korean BBQ experience, adding an extra layer of satisfaction to our outing. Scram Escape Rooms, true to their reputation, consistently delivers high-quality rooms, making them a wholehearted recommendation for anyone in search of an engaging and immersive escape room experience.

Josh: Our visit to Scram Escape Rooms at Macquarie Park made this the first repeated company we have used as a group. This is not because they are the most local to us but we genuinely always have a great time in their rooms. They are well thought out, themed really well and have great puzzles. The Witching Hour was no exception to this, we had a fantastic time and it was one of our best performances as a group to date. We finished this room with about 15 minutes to spare but never felt like we really rushed through it. Having personally previously done F.E.A.R  at Scram Parramatta and Wizards Quest at Escape Hunt, I would describe this room as an in between. It has magical elements but they are more satanic than Wizards Quest while not being as scary as F.E.A.R. A couple of standout moments for me was the "step up" puzzle that you do which is a little creepy as you can't fit more than one or two people up there. The other was the tunnel that you need to crawl through at one point which is always a cool way to transition between rooms. Kyle on the other hand maintained his dignity and refused to crawl with us instead opting for us to open the door from the inside for him. A really enjoyable room overall, definitely not in my top 5 but a lot of fun! Also, as the boys have mentioned if you go try the Korean BBQ around the corner.
The Simon WTF are you doing moment of the Game: During our game we heard a cry out (Possibly of enjoyment?) from Simon. It appears as though the Satanic Witch had prodded him in the anus with a piece of wood. Simon claims that one of the boys did this but there is no evidence.

Simon: We had done escape rooms with Scram Escape Rooms previously at their Parramatta locations which have always equated to a great outing. This lead us to do The Witching Hour at Scram's new location at Macquarie Park. The setting and the tone for this room was a very creepy vibe and I remember each of the rooms being really dark. The puzzles had a more satanic ritual feel to them which makes it super interactive. This was a room in which we had great success completing it with nearly 15 minutes left on the timer. We blitzed this room! We were able to solve the puzzles with great effect. This is not to say that the room wasn't difficult or that the puzzles weren't challenging, the puzzles were certainly complex and it was big brain time! I think it was more of a reflection of our experience with successfully completing past escape rooms which put us in good stead. Moreover, all of the puzzles had contributed greatly to the overall setting and creepy vibe of the room. Listen ... the guys may tell you that they don't remember much in terms of the specific events and puzzles we needed to solve. However, I remember a distinct moment where I was probed anally with a piece of wood, which I can assure readers is NOT part of the room or a required activity. The boys claim "iT wAs tHe WitCh", but I know they were just channelling their inner witch. To this day, I am still trying to find out which group member did it! Shout out to Kong's BBQ, very close to the escape room location and a great feed after an hour of being haunted by a witch! Omg I wear that blue flannel and white shirt combination too much!
